So here we are 2 weeks away from WWDC 2021. Updates to MacOS, iOS, iPadOS, watchOS, tvOS are a sure thing. New features and most importantly(I hope)STABILITY improvements. Having purchased the 11” M1 iPad Pro(I have zero need for the 12.9” and I am quite certain that the 11” gets the Liquid Retina XDR display upgrade next year) and marvel at the increased speed of just about every task. We have the hardware story now we need the software story. I have no doubt that Apple will be telling us this new story at WWDC. How deep they go is anyone’s guess, but why give us the M1 without the equivalent in iPadOS.

Rumors of upgraded 14” and 16” MacBook Pro’s and bigger display iMac’s with M1X or M2 chips are dropping regularly and where there is smoke there is fire. I don’t think we get either of those until the fall. I am expecting software only with maybe an updated M1 or M2 announcement.*

*UPDATE Well that was fast according to Mac Rumors leaker Jon Prosser says new MacBook Pro’s are coming at WWDC.

I for one am very excited for this years WWDC. Part of the reason I launched this blog when I did was to get ready for just that. I will be covering all of the new developments and announcements.
